# Pricing Intelligence

> Set prices at the right level, protecting margin without sacrificing volume

## Overview

Most merchants set prices by instinct or by copying competitors. Pricing Intelligence shows how your shelf prices compare to the big box stores on the same items, so you can protect margin without sacrificing volume.

Connect your POS and get your first report within a week. It is free for merchants, with nothing to install at the register.

## What the Report Shows

## Matching Your Catalog

Vero works from what's actually in your POS, whoever you buy it from. House brands are the hard part: much of what the big box sells is private label, so a barcode match alone misses a lot of the shelf. Vero matches those by size, material, rating, and use, and shows you the confidence on each match.

## Customer Reports

Turn on customer reports and your regular customers get a short note showing what they saved by shopping with you instead of the big box. You choose which items go out. Vero never sends anything you haven't approved.
